Arte de Fora

Apply to be a featured artist at our upcoming September event in collaboration with Estúdio Art Works: Arte de Fora. Arte de Fora is a group exhibition showcasing the work of immigrant artists living in Portugal. This is the second edition of the project. This project aims to create a space for visibility, expression and dialogue, especially for those living “in-between” cultures, languages, and systems. The exhibition is designed to share experiences, celebrate what makes each story unique and the plethora and beauty different cultures brings to Porto. 

You don’t need a professional portfolio to apply! Just share a link where we can see your work — Instagram, folder, website, anything that shows your art.

Tell us about the work you’d like to exhibit. What medium is it? What size? What does it express? You may submit only one piece. Max size: A3. Max weight: 3kg (including any frame or base). All works must be ready to hang or display.

We believe that each artist brings a unique perspective shaped by lived experience. If you feel comfortable, share something about your story, your creative process, or what inspires you. This may be used (with your permission) in artist profiles shared during the exhibition's communication. If selected, we will contact you with more details.

Terms and conditions I understand the €10 fee applies only if selected. I understand that selection will be based on curatorial decision and space limitations. I will deliver my work ready to be exhibited. I acknowledge that the exhibition does not provide insurance and I am responsible for my work. I authorize the use of my artwork image for event promotion.
